Job Summary
Prepare and validate sales quotations by interpreting customer specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to ensure accurate product selection, technical compliance, and commercial accuracy. Take full ownership of final product selection decisions, performing cross-specification and substitution to optimize competitive solutions while maintaining pricing policies and margin structures. Coordinate with sales, product management, and stakeholders to gather inputs, validate Deal/Special Price Agreements, and provide technical recommendations for value engineering. Maintain quotation tracking systems, prepare commercial analyses, and train team members on specification interpretation and quotation best practices to drive continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales support, quotation management, specification support, or technical sales roles
- Strong exposure to product selection
- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting specifications, cross-specifying products, and developing compliant technical solutions
- Proven experience handling complex quotations, tenders, and customized project requirements
- Strong understanding of lighting systems, applications, and commercial proposal development
