Job Summary
Prepare accurate quotes and build estimates by gathering information, analyzing material and job costing, and creating job routings using the Epicor ERP system. Build and price standard and special jobs to maintain product competitiveness while maximizing profit, then follow up on quotations and modify them as necessary. Collaborate with engineering, production, QA, and shipping departments to ensure quote accuracy. Demonstrate superior customer service by combining system knowledge, sales skills, and problem-solving abilities to exceed expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Strong knowledge of Mi-Jack equipment
- Functional competence and a basic understanding of machining or a production environment
- Strong numerical skills
- Analytical mindset
- Familiarity with financial and project management principles
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision within specified time frames
- Ability to identify problems and offer alternative solutions and/or courses of action based on available resources
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal partners and external customers
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of data
- Ability to collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks independently
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to work cooperatively with customers, sales representatives, staff, management, and other associates
- Accurately type at the net rate of 40 words per minute using a computer keyboard
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Vocational training in mechanical, hydraulic and / or electronic assembly
- 1-3 years of experience working on Epicor
- 1-3 years of experience working on Salesforce
