Job Summary
Interpret complex customer requirements, offer profitable solutions, and negotiate pricing with manufacturers and clients. Create accurate quotations and submittal packages from customer specifications using applicable software systems. Follow up on outstanding quotes to secure orders, improve the quotation process, and measure effectiveness. Support the Profit Center Sales Team as a peer expert on bid strategies and product application. Investigate and resolve customer problems, address pricing deductions, and communicate credit risk changes to management. Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs. This role requires 1+ years of experience creating quotes and comprehensive product knowledge. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, detail orientation, and the ability to analyze quotation data to adjust processes. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $22–$26, full-time benefits including medical and dental, and a profit-sharing program. Located at J&H Aitcheson in Leesburg, VA.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years' experience creating quotes and providing customer service
- Comprehensive knowledge of products sold by the Profit Center
- Strong work ethic
- High standard of integrity
- Expert level of plumbing product knowledge
- Strong communication skills

- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned
- Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to create and submit quotation packages and create orders
