Job Summary
Source market intelligence and prepare quotes for large project bids in the PVF industry, utilizing sales experience and technical knowledge to support multiple branches in the Permian Basin region. Sourcing specifications and pricing bids while maximizing financial results and meeting customer timelines. Build relationships with vendors and stakeholders to improve service, attain sales goals, and expand market share for both new and existing accounts. Review customer specifications to ensure accurate quoting. Requires an Associate's degree, proven relationship-building skills, and the ability to prospect new accounts through networking and cold calling.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Strong understanding of PVF industry (pipes, valves and fittings)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely with strong presentation and liaison skills
- Able to prospect new accounts by professional networking, industry research, and cold calling
- Proven ability to strengthen relationships with 'key' accounts
