Job Summary
Quotation Specialist provides customer support through quoting, sourcing and delivering product/parts quotations; partners with Order Specialists, Account Managers and Supervisors to meet requests and deadlines under a “QUOTE TO WIN” strategy; delivers exceptional customer service to build lasting partnerships and coordinates product delivery with vendors, engineers, customers, shop, and warehouse; sources and prices designated products/parts, handles customer calls for quotes, and sends finalized quotes to customers; maintains knowledge of designated product lines and collaborates with the shop on work in progress; emphasizes confidentiality and cross-selling opportunities with the Application Engineering group; work is primarily in an office with occasional overnight travel to visit customer sites or attend training; wage range starts at $24.00-$27.00 per hour, with potential to increase to $28-$30 per hour with 5+ years of experience; comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, HSA/FSA options, 401(k) with employer match, holidays and PTO; part of Applied Control with a 9/80 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and other MS Suite tools
- Strong desire and proven ability to provide excellent customer service
- Effective prioritization and time management skills
- Self-motivated, requiring little supervision
- Discreet with confidential information
- Desire to help others and work with them to find solutions
- Proven ability to work closely with others, particularly peers and sales staff
