Job Summary
Complete assigned inspections and perform repairs on Ford vehicles according to manufacturer specifications. Execute maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and transmission service. Collect necessary vehicle information, prepare accurate repair estimates detailing the concern, cause, and correction, and communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding additional services or delays. Road test vehicles to verify repair quality and submit warranty claims promptly. Maintain a professional image, keep the work area clean, and possess sufficient personally-owned tools. Submit all claims and returns for Ford warranty efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools
- keeps tools in good working order
- Promotes dealership by presenting professional image, positive attitude, and clean work area
- Maintains cleanliness of the customer's vehicle
- Submits all claims promptly
- Able to write a repair process as required for Ford Warranty
- Returns parts for Ford warranty
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
