Job Summary
Quick Response Team Engineer within Module Production Support responsible for providing containments and quick solutions to operational and technical disturbances on the Twinscan production modules. Tasks include first-line troubleshooting on the production line, implementing ad hoc containments to limit impact for subsequent shifts, leading escalation management to involve the right stakeholders, and collaborating with other support departments to improve quality and delivery. The role requires a technical bachelor’s or vocational degree, 2+ years of hands-on production experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, willingness to travel for field problems, and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment with LEAN processes. The position is based in Veldhoven, Netherlands, with a fixed shift-based schedule.
Required Qualifications
- A technical bachelor’s or vocational (MBO4) degree with relevant work experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Automotive, Aerospace, or any equivalent
- Preferably 2+ years of hands-on experience in a technical production environment
- Experience with troubleshooting: analyzing problems, finding root-cause and determining solution
- Knowledge of quality improvement methods
- Knowledge and experience with (technical) project management
- Experience in problem analysis of products and processes
- Take initiative, goal oriented, flexible
- Take ownership, pro-active attitude
- Prepared to travel on exception base to solve (potential) problems in the field
- Analytical skills, work in a structured way
- Service minded, good communicator/presenter on different stakeholder levels
