Job Summary
Test check systems to ensure they are working properly, isolate components causing problems, and drive vehicles for testing while inspecting and refilling fluid levels. Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicate oil levels to teammates, and maintain efficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Repair or replace worn parts ahead of breakdowns using power tools, machine tools, and hand tools. Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation and clean lubricate fittings as needed. ASE certification or technical degree preferred with one year in a service department. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
