Quick Lube Service Technician / Mechanic

Job Summary
Perform multipoint inspections on all vehicles, checking tire pressure and lubricating moving parts with specified fluids. Drain oil from the crankcase and refill it, then replace oil and air filters. Add water to the radiator and battery, and inspect vehicles for additional repairs requiring communication with service advisors. Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, and harsh chemicals. Required Qualifications
- Must meet dealership's requirements for employment
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and information
- Familiarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenance
- Must have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions
- Ability to operate an automobile
- Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Requires a significant amount of walking and/or standing
- Ability to stoop and bend
- Ability to work in the seated position for long periods while operating controls with arms and legs
- Ability to push and/or pull materials from place to place
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a technician's helper or apprentice preferred
