Job Summary
Quick Lube Service Technician responsibilities include testing systems and components to ensure secure operation, isolating root causes, driving the vehicle for testing, diagnosing and repairing components, repairing or replacing worn parts before breakdowns, and using power tools, machine tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform tasks with efficiency and accuracy. The role requires knowledge of automobiles, ability to learn new repair procedures, and strong reading, computer, and math skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a technical degree and ASE certifications preferred. The position is based in Early, TX and is in-person.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year in service department
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Basic computer skills
