Job Summary
The Quick Lube Service Advisor (QLSA) greets customers, assesses service needs, explains oil-change options and maintenance services, and coordinates with technicians to ensure timely, accurate estimates and service delivery. Responsibilities include managing appointments, communicating service status, presenting pricing and recommendations, guiding customers through additional maintenance options, handling billing and records, and promoting promotions/loyalty programs. This fully customer-facing role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a team-oriented approach, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional service and driving referrals while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage appointments, maintain records, and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Problem-solving: Ability to address and resolve customer issues effectively and professionally
- Sales Skills: Ability to recommend additional services and promotions to customers based on their needs
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills for scheduling, billing, and record-keeping tasks
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with lube technicians and other team members
