Quick Lube Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily Quick Lube department operations by leading, coaching, and scheduling technicians while greeting customers, writing repair orders, and recommending maintenance services. Ensure quality workmanship and high customer satisfaction by inspecting repairs, reviewing courtesy inspection sheets, and implementing a quality control process to eliminate comebacks. Monitor productivity, sales, and department performance while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Advise customers on vehicle care and provide complete, accurate written estimates with signatures and payment approvals. Directly supervise employees through training, assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems in accordance with organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Two to four years related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

- 2+ years of automotive service or Quick Lube experience
