Job Summary
Perform minor automotive repairs and upkeep including oil changes, brake rotations, and entry-level mechanical work. Diagnose customer concerns and execute repairs using factory communications, bulletins, and service procedures based on the Vehicle Inspection Report or Repair Estimate Order. Upsell products and services to customers while providing labor and time estimates to maximize profits. Communicate regularly with the parts department and Service Advisors to maintain accurate vehicle status. Continuously learn new technical information through formal and informal training sessions. Follow dealership procedures while adhering to OSHA and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Basic automotive knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must be a team player
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions
