Job Summary
Perform oil changes, inspect vehicles for wear and necessary maintenance, and execute light repairs such as brake pads, tire, filter, and fluid replacements. Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and communicate service timelines and findings to customers and service advisors. Ensure maintenance and repair work meets high standards of quality and safety; stay updated on automotive technology and techniques. This is a full-time, on-site role at Ryan Auto Mall.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further certification from a technical school is preferred
- Proven experience as a Quick Lane Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive service industry
- Proficient in using automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
- Ability to perform oil changes, tire rotations, and light vehicle maintenance and repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to relay vehicle diagnostics and needed repairs to customers and service managers
- Commitment to upholding company safety policies and procedures
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work under challenging conditions
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
