Job Summary
Full-Time Quick Lane Technician responsible for oil changes, vehicle inspections, and light repairs (e.g., brake pads, tires, filters, fluids) in a fast-paced automotive service environment. Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical/electrical issues, maintain a clean and safe work area, and communicate service timelines and vehicle issues to service advisors. Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service while staying current with automotive technology and techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quick Lane Technician or similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent; further certification from a technical school is preferred
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive service industry
- Proficient in using automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
- Ability to perform oil changes, tire rotations, and light vehicle maintenance and repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to relay vehicle diagnostics and needed repairs to customers and service managers
- Commitment to upholding company safety policies and procedures
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work under challenging conditions
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
