Job Summary
Provide nursing care for hospice patients in both inpatient units and in-home settings, managing assigned caseloads and leading the interdisciplinary team. Conduct assessments, care planning, pain management, and symptom management while administering physician-prescribed medications. Ensure timely and accurate submission of patient documentation and charting in adherence to client policies. Requires 1+ years of RN experience with 1 year in hospice, EPIC EMR proficiency, and a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle. Full-time contract for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week, nights shifts, and no call.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse: 1+ years
- Hospice Nursing experience: 1 year
- EPIC EMR experience
- Willing to attend Epic remote training for Hospice
- Willing to work both inpatient/home settings
- Must have valid Driver's License
- Reliable Vehicle
- provide proof of Personal Auto Liability Insurance
- ASN or an equivalent
- RN License for State applying or Compact if accepted in the state
- BLS Certification from AHA
