Job Summary
Prepare passenger trains for departure and move them within stations and surrounding areas up to 40 km/h to correct destinations. Assemble trains, separate individual cars, and ensure proper placement. Make trains ready for departure by checking key functions and performing brake tests. Maintain situational awareness to ensure safe and smooth operations. Independently resolve minor disturbances or report them to the responsible authority. Work in a 24-hour shift system with irregular hours, including night and weekend shifts with additional pay. Requires good color vision, physical stamina, and German language skills at B2 level.
Required Qualifications
- Attention, concentration, and physical fitness to successfully manage this demanding work in a 24-hour shift operation
- Preference for working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to quickly adapt to digital tools and aids (due to electronic instructions and documentation)
- Completed basic education (minimum EBA)
- Existing practical experience
- Good verbal and written knowledge of German (Level B2)
- Flawless color sense (no red/green weakness)
Desired Qualifications
- Practical experience preferably from a craft or logistics environment
