Job Summary
Respond to equipment staging and delivery requests while safely storing, staging, and transporting IT hardware to client sites. Perform hardware replacements and upgrades in data center environments, and troubleshoot faulty equipment using remote support to minimize downtime. Adhere to safety protocols and best practices during all operations. Work with the remote support team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. This on-call role offers competitive hourly pay between $50-$90 with travel and parking expenses included. You will gain exposure to diverse networking and IT operations while receiving training from an experienced team.
Required Qualifications
- basic experience as a Data Center Technician or IT works
- Decent knowledge of data center equipment, IT hardware, and associated technologies
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules
- Physical fitness to handle equipment and perform tasks within data center environments
