Job Summary
Licensed Conveyancer with experience in Queensland residential conveyancing, responsible for the full conveyancing lifecycle from matter opening and client onboarding through to settlement and file closure. Key duties include due diligence (title searches, caveats, encumbrances), drafting and reviewing contracts of sale and Section 32 statements, advising clients on risks and obligations, handling post-exchange requirements (land titles, stamp duty, concessions, compliance), and coordinating settlements. Will work with Lawlab’s technology stack (Rundl, PEXA, DocuSign, VOI, electronic search platforms) to deliver a seamless client experience. Requires excellent written and verbal communication, client engagement, tech-savviness, and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
Required Qualifications
- QLD Licensed Conveyancer
- Experience in Queensland residential conveyancing
- Ability to manage full conveyancing lifecycle from opening to settlement
- Drafting and reviewing contracts of sale and Section 32 statements
- Comfort with technology and digital tools
- Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
