Quebec Market Developer - HR Consultant

Job Summary
Drive Quebec market new business growth in Mercer’s HR consulting solutions; originate, develop, and close consulting opportunities across Health, Wealth, Career and integrated solutions; lead consultative discovery with senior stakeholders; orchestrate multi-solution pursuits with internal specialists, proposal development, pricing, and contracting; maintain disciplined CRM hygiene, pipeline forecasting, and activity reporting; build relationships with key influencers and decision makers across Quebec; develop an active external presence in the market; partner with Client Managers and practice leaders to cross-sell and ensure strong handoffs for delivery and long-term growth; travel within Quebec and occasionally across Canada; fluency in French and English; hybrid role requiring in-office presence in Montreal at least 3 days/week; LLQP licensed.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of consultative B2B sales experience (professional services, consulting, or HR/benefits/retirement/health solutions preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Strong executive presence; able to influence C-suite and senior HR/Finance leaders
- Demonstrated ability to lead pursuit teams and sell integrated solutions across multiple domains
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentations) and comfort negotiating commercial terms
- Fluency in French and English (required to serve Quebec-based clients and internal stakeholders)
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and modern sales processes
- Ability to travel within Quebec and occasionally across Canada
- LLQP Licensed
