Job Summary
Quarry Supervisor on Night Shift overseeing daily aggregate production operations, focusing on production, quality control, maintenance, and safety compliance. Responsibilities include assisting the Plant Manager, monitoring production rates, coordinating equipment operators, mechanics, and quality control personnel, implementing continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs, supporting preventative maintenance, tracking inventory of raw materials and spare parts, maintaining records for production, maintenance, and safety inspections, and acting as Plant Manager in their absence. Emphasis on MSHA regulations, environmental standards, and adherence to company safety policies; leadership and problem-solving skills essential for guiding the team in a high-demand outdoor mining environment.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- Strong foundational knowledge of crushing, screening, and material handling equipment.
- Proven self-motivation, diligence, and a collaborative work ethic.
- Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and assist with a variety of tasks.
