Quarry Superintendent - Construction Aggregates

Quarry Superintendent overseeing day-to-day oversight of the aggregate operation, including leading safety initiatives, managing the quarry, directing aggregate production and scheduling, and personnel management. Coordinates mining and production of aggregate materials for internal asphalt plants and external construction markets, driving safety, quality, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include championing safe work practices with MSHA compliance, directing crushing, washing, and production to meet quality specs and schedules, monitoring production efficiency and costs, overseeing mine planning, stripping, dewatering, haul routes, and subcontractor coordination, managing inventory with survey/accounting/management teams, coordinating drilling and blasting, providing daily leadership and onboarding for a field team of about ten, and communicating production status and site conditions to management.
