Job Summary
Lead the team at the Axedale Sand & Gravel Quarry overseeing daily operations, production, health & safety, logistics, and full P&L responsibility. Manage quarry development, storm water, and environmental management while implementing preventative maintenance schedules. Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain through innovative planning and make business decisions impacting overall performance, including financial planning, budgeting, and cost management. Maintain a strong safety mindset to manage high-risk activities and reduce exposure for self and others. Report to the Area Manager in a role requiring leadership experience, negotiation skills, and resilience under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- experienced quarry manager/supervisor with relevant industry qualifications
- leadership experience
- ability to support continuous improvement across the Supply Chain process
