Job Summary
Quarry Manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of quarry operations to meet production and quality targets while maintaining MSHA-compliant safety practices. Manage budgeting, short- and long-term mine planning (ground control and surveying), supervision of personnel, cost control, and coordination with plant operations to optimize reliability, maintenance, and product quality. Lead safety culture, training, and continuous improvement initiatives; ensure documentation and compliance with company policies and environmental standards. Travel to other sites as needed; promote harmonious relations with hourly employees and support mine-improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or related field
- 5-8 years of experience as a mine operation manager
- Proven track record in quarry or aggregate manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations, ground control and surveying
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Occasional travel to other company sites
