Job Summary
Shovel, rake, and move materials while cleaning and maintaining the quarry under Foreman direction. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, OSHA, and MSHA policies using appropriate tools and equipment. Perform general laboring duties including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions. Valid Driver's License and prior quarry experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior experience in a Quarry environment
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to provide proper documentation that you have the legal right to work in the United States
- One year of verifiable work experience related to Quarry work
- Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear
- Able to climb ladders and to work at heights
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 60 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and be capable of passing required physical examination
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Knowledge of basic tools and their uses
- basic mathematical and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication)
