Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front-end loaders, excavators, and other quarry machinery in a safe and effective manner to minimize injury risks. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment, ensuring perfect working order and promptly identifying needs for repair or replacement. Coordinate with site management to plan, execute, and monitor material movement within the quarry while adjusting equipment settings to meet project requirements. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by reporting hazards and participating in ongoing training. Work closely with the team to ensure efficient material distribution and project completion on time.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid certification in operating heavy machinery
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods
- In-depth understanding of industry safety standards and regulations
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor repairs on equipment
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- High level of physical fitness and strength
- Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings
