Job Summary
Execute quantum optimization client projects from initial problem framing to delivery, translating real-world challenges into optimization formulations and evaluating solution strategies via analytical reasoning and numerical experimentation. Design and run benchmarking and feasibility studies on Pasqal quantum processors, assessing classical approach limitations and identifying pathways toward quantum utility. Develop and scale solutions using emulation backends locally and on HPC, collaborating closely with software engineering and R&D hardware teams to define blueprints for client use cases. Investigate the state of the art in academic and industrial literature to propose impactful research paths and support team-wide knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Combinatorial Optimization, Quantum Computing or in a related field
- at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in combinatorial optimization
