Job Summary

Lead development of numerical methods for exact and approximate simulation of quantum circuits and dynamics; scale up numerical methods on HPC clusters and supercomputers; perform large-scale simulations and document the results in scientific papers; implement, maintain, and manage a codebase of quantum simulation techniques.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in computer science, physics, math, engineering or related fields, plus at least 2 years of experience
  • Experience in using GPUs in numerical simulation of quantum systems
  • Experience running simulations on many parallel nodes on HPC clusters or supercomputers
  • Experience in numerical study of quantum algorithms or systems and documenting the results in scientific papers
