Job Summary
Conduct rigorous on-site measurements and quantity take-offs to validate and certify monthly contractor progress billings and interim payment certificates for wastewater infrastructure projects in Tabuk. Perform routine physical site inspections to audit completed works, ensuring contractor-reported quantities align with actual progress on the ground. Evaluate contract variations, site instructions, and change orders specific to wastewater networks, earthworks, and structural concrete installations. Assist in the review and settlement of commercial claims by analyzing site records, diaries, and RFIs to assess cost impacts. Maintain impeccable, auditable commercial files, including tracking sheets, measurement books, and material delivery logs. Collaborate daily with Resident Engineers and site construction teams to reconcile discrepancies between design drawings and installed quantities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
- Minimum of 7 years of direct construction experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- A proven track record working on wastewater networks, treatment facilities, or wet infrastructure utilities
- Deep knowledge of civil engineering standard methods of measurement (such as CESMM4 or POMI)
- Deep knowledge of FIDIC forms of contract
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in specialized commercial management software
