Job Summary
Quantity Surveyor at Severn Trent joining the Capital Commercial team to support the commercial delivery of projects across their full lifecycle, moving beyond transactional procurement into end-to-end commercial involvement. You’ll work with project managers, engineers and delivery partners, develop expertise in NEC contracts and cost management, contribute to procurement strategies and tender processes, engage with suppliers and support negotiations, review supplier costs, support contract management and reporting, identify and mitigate risks, and build strong relationships across project teams and supply chain. The role emphasizes practical, value-driven commercial activity within construction/infrastructure projects and includes opportunities for training and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience
- CIPS, RICS or similar professional membership desirable
