Job Summary
Quantity Surveyor – Energy from Waste project in Cambridgeshire. Manage all commercial aspects from procurement through final account, administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts, prepare/ negotiate valuations, variations and change controls, support subcontract procurement and tender evaluation, produce cost reports/ forecasts for leadership, monitor progress with project managers/engineers, identify commercial risks and advise on contract and cost matters, liaise with suppliers and stakeholders, and assist in resolution of claims and ensure documentation is maintained.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Energy from Waste, power generation, or large industrial construction
- Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts
- Experience on large, complex infrastructure or process plant projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost management systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
