Job Summary
Quantity Surveyor sought to deliver comprehensive cost management services across all project stages (Stage 1-6) for a variety of sectors including Retail, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Educational developments. Responsibilities include pre-contract estimates (Order of Magnitude and detailed Elements/BQ), procurement documentation, tender evaluations and commercial negotiations, contract administration (variations and claims), post-contract valuations, and timely cost reporting. Requires a BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, SACQSP registration, and 4-6 years post-qualification experience. Location: On-site in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Required Qualifications
- BSc (Hons) or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP (mandatory)
- Minimum 4-6 years of post-qualification experience
- Proven experience across all project stages (Stage 1-6)
- Demonstrable expertise in both fitout and basebuild projects
- Strong background in Cost Management across multiple sectors
- Experience in Engineering Procurement, Contract Administration, and Tender Adjudication
- Track record of successful project delivery in fast-paced environments
