Job Summary
Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and detailed cost estimates, developing and controlling project budgets and cost plans, monitoring construction costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets, supporting procurement through bid evaluations and cost negotiations, providing cost forecasts and reporting to stakeholders, and ensuring cost management practices comply with contractual frameworks (FIDIC where applicable). The role requires a civil/structural engineering background with significant experience in BoQ preparation, cost estimation, and international costing, and strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills. Location is Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering with minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering with minimum five (5) years of relevant experience
- Experience in preparation of BoQs, engineering estimates, and budget control
- Experience in international engineering costing, particularly under FIDIC contracts
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Knowledge of construction market rates and cost structures
- High attention to detail and strong cost control capability
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
