Job Summary
VP-level role in Quantitative Trading & Research focused on Market Microstructure and High Frequency Trading. Contributes to on-exchange trading across asset classes (FX, Rates, Commodities, Credit) and products (futures, cash, ETF) by designing and implementing proprietary quantitative models that drive automated trading systems (pricing, risk management, execution) and overseeing day-to-day risk and operations. Responsibilities include analyzing high frequency market data to optimize trading strategies, researching market microstructure including signal generation and queue-position optimization, designing/back-testing/implementing trading strategies in production, and collaborating with technology partners and ECNs/exchanges. Required qualifications include a degree in a quantitative field, experience with real time market data and order entry, strong data analytics skills with large data sets, and a detail-oriented, collaborative mindset. The role involves UK regulatory requirements and potential FCA/PR Authority involvement.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or other quantitative fields

- This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity and requires assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence by the regulatory bodies where appropriate
