Job Summary
Quantitative Trading & Research (QTR) Associate or VP in London focusing on European Government Bond and Interest Rate Swaps markets. Responsibilities include analyzing data to identify patterns and revenue opportunities, contributing to pricing, risk management and execution research, expanding the group’s modelling and automation tools, reviewing trading performance, maintaining and improving trading software, resolving day-to-day trading issues, and owning the end-to-end trading pipeline from idea generation to production. The role requires collaboration across trading desks, sales, product and technology, as well as comfort with on-call responsibilities. Preferred experience includes understanding data flows across applications, Rates market exposure, algorithmic trading, familiarity with order types/L2 market data/CLOs, and experience with KDB+/q; regulatory fitness assessments with UK authorities may apply.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering or other quantitative field
- Few years of relevant full-time experience
- Strong programming skills in C++/Java or other object-oriented languages
- Good knowledge of statistics and machine learning
- Attention to detail, adaptable, driven and collaborative
- Demonstrated interest in markets and systematic trading
