Job Summary
Senior Quantitative Research role in Energy trading, focused on developing pricing and risk models for vanilla and structured products, with end-to-end ownership from research design to production implementation. Collaborate with Trading, Sales, Structuring and Technology to identify commercial opportunities, develop analytical tools for front office use, provide quantitative analysis to front office and control functions, and lead cross-functional projects. Requires an advanced quantitative degree (master’s or PhD) and strong programming skills (Python and C++ preferred), with expertise in valuation techniques including stochastic calculus, probability theory, optimization, and Monte Carlo methods. Familiarity with energy and commodities markets is preferred; location options include New York, NY and Houston, TX with on-site, front-office responsibilities.
