Job Summary
Quantitative Researcher to join Forge’s Research & Data Analytics team. Develop original research using private markets data, macro trends, and emerging themes to generate content and insights for clients, internal partners, and the public. Hybrid work with 2-3 days weekly in the Soho, NY office. Responsibilities include conducting research, identifying market trends, developing private market indices, building models and data products, maintaining internal databases, producing research reports, handling data requests, and collaborating with product, sales, and marketing. Qualifications emphasize 6-10 years in equities, undergraduate and master’s degrees in finance/economics/statistics/math/engineering, strong communication, collaboration, and Python/SQL/AI-ML skills. Salary range for NY residents: $170,000 - $220,000 plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of relevant work experience in public or private equities markets
- Undergraduate and Masters degrees in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering or a related field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills: able to translate and communicate quantitative information effectively to non-technical audience
- Strong internal partnership skills: ability to proactively suggest content ideas and collaborate with peers
- Physical requirements: operate a computer for 8 hours per day; give and receive detailed information through verbal and written communication
