Job Summary
Build client-facing APIs and AI-powered tooling to support dv01's external API products and AI assistant, including RESTful endpoints and integration of structured finance domain knowledge into conversational interfaces and external-tool connectivity. Role involves modeling complex structured finance transactions from offering memorandums and trustee reports, and collaborating to enhance on-demand reporting tools for client use, while working with internal teams and a diverse set of engineers, product managers, and designers. The candidate should be a well-rounded engineer with a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, a deep understanding of structured finance (securitizations and credit facility transactions), and experience with web technologies and APIs, databases, and scalable applications. Interest in AI and API design is a plus; the ability to think both about small details and the big picture is essential. We value proactive, forward-thinking, and collaborative individuals who can contribute to a remote-first environment and work across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years engineering experience
- experience with structured finance or related financial instruments
- web application development experience including APIs/databases
- ability to design scalable back-end systems
- familiarity with AI/LLM concepts is a plus but not required
