Job Summary
Architect and optimize performant low-latency trading and high-throughput training systems while developing, augmenting, and calibrating exchange simulators. Create tools to analyze data for patterns, make market observations, and conduct post-trade analysis. Work extensively with traders and researchers to operate the team's high-frequency trading strategies. Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD student in computer science, mathematics, physics, or electrical engineering required. Proficient in C++ and Python with a working knowledge of Linux/Unix. Anticipated New York and Chicago weekly base salary range $3,500-5,700. Benefits include housing accommodation, free meals, and daily snacks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD student
- Majoring in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or related fields
- A working knowledge of Linux/Unix
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Interest in financial markets
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in an object-oriented programming language (C++ and Python preferred)
- Past industry experience
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant and/or participation in relevant Olympiads
- Familiarity with machine learning, data analysis, market research and data modeling
