Job Summary
As a Quantitative Analyst, you'll develop and document models for stress testing aligned with regulatory requirements, maintain quantitative tools measuring risks, and serve as an expert in risk quantification. Responsibilities include preparing data and insights for regulators, communicating findings to management, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key skills include proficiency in SQL, R, Power BI, and strong project management abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics (Required)
- 4 or more years of experience with SQL, R, and Power BI (Required)
- An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Preferred)
- 2 or more years of experience in a modeling discipline within Banking or Capital Markets at a DFAST or CCAR institution or consulting firm (Preferred)
- 2 or more years of experience in financial and business analysis (Preferred)
- Experience developing models in PPNR, Credit Risk, or Market Risk
- Understanding of federal and state laws related to accounting, financial reporting, and stress‐testing models
