Job Summary
Conduct market making research and identify trading opportunities while collaborating with software engineers, quants, traders, and risk managers throughout the trading day. Participate in classroom learning experiences including a week-long Basics of Options class, multi-week market making fundamentals, and a quant framework curriculum. Attend social activities and leadership talks to build professional networks with CTC employees and fellow interns. Engage in weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager to track progress and receive mentorship from trading and quant team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Graduation between December 2027-June 2028
- Demonstrated record of success (academics, awards, etc.)
- Willingness to relocate to Chicago, IL for the summer (with full-time placement in Chicago)
- Ability to participate in the full duration of the 8-week program from mid-June to early August 2027
