Job Summary
Conduct options market making, trade execution, strategy formulation, back-testing, and data analysis while modeling and pricing financial derivatives. Communicate daily with traders, risk managers, and software engineers to solve complex problems and generate alpha. Participate in data-driven research and complete formal coursework on pricing theory and programming within an in-house education department. Receive one-on-one mentorship from senior members to transition from the Associate Program into a Quant Trader or Quant Researcher role.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
- You will graduate between December 2026-June 2027
- You have a demonstrated record of success (academics, awards, etc.)
- You are willing to relocate to Chicago, IL
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities
- No prior experience in finance is necessary, but a deep curiosity and a hunger to learn is essential
Desired Qualifications
- Basic programming skills or a willingness to learn Python
