Job Summary
Make markets and manage risk across sports and financial prediction contracts by designing pricing models for real-time fair values and executing opportunities from model insights. Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to productionize models, launch new markets, and scale automated decision-making while continuously improving predictive accuracy. Maintain operational stability of pricing models and ensure robustness through rigorous monitoring and iteration. This role requires flexibility with global sporting schedules and Python proficiency for data manipulation and automation. Candidates must have 2+ years of professional trading or modeling experience in competitive environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics)
- 2+ years of professional trading or modeling experience in fast moving competitive environments such as market making, options/derivatives, prop trading, or sports betting trading
- Experience integrating data and models into production
- Strong grasp of trading concepts, with the ability to think critically about uncertainty and model assumptions
- Python proficiency, including strong experience with data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation
- Passion for and strong understanding of sports and event-driven markets
- Flexibility with working hours to align with global sporting schedules
