Job Summary
Quant Analytics Senior Associate to leverage data analytics to guide strategic decisions across JPMorgan Chase's Small Business Card Analytics team. Role involves developing executive dashboards, ongoing reporting, and deep-dive analyses to address portfolio performance, optimize campaigns, and drive profitability through data-driven insights. You will partner with marketing, product, finance, and risk teams to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations, influence resource allocation and portfolio management, and contribute to analytics architecture and enterprise data strategies. The position requires autonomy, strong communication of complex analyses to senior leadership, and the ability to deliver measurable outcomes across marketing, finance, and business functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years of experience
- Hands-on data mining techniques
- Proficiency in Python or SAS
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience delivering analytics and insights to multiple levels of management
- Experience working with cross-functional partners in marketing, product, finance, and risk
- Ability to develop executive-ready dashboards and performance measurement frameworks
- Experience identifying and scaling data quality improvements
- Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, or related field; or equivalent combination
- 3+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with advanced degree)
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks
