Job Summary
Lead quantitative analytics for the Alternative Lending Analytics team, partnering with cross-functional groups to analyze data from large SQL and AWS databases and translate insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Develop analytics frameworks for new lending products, ensure data quality, lead report automation, and communicate insights to senior leaders to influence strategy. This role drives the delivery of analytics and insights to inform critical business decisions, requiring strong leadership, data storytelling, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with rigor. Requires a BS in a STEM field with 6+ years of financial analytics experience and proficiency in SAS, SQL, Spark, Python, Unix, and Excel Pivot; experience in credit card or mortgage analytics; exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS in a STEM field
- 6+ years in financial industry analytics roles (e.g., marketing analytics, risk analytics, product analytics, business insights)
- 6+ years hands-on experience with analytics technologies (SAS, SQL, Spark, Python, Unix, Excel Pivot, etc.) in a big data environment
- Financial services experience in credit card or mortgage analytics
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to identify key drivers, prioritize tasks, be results-oriented, and maintain strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in applying quantitative methods for business analytics
- Adept critical thinker and problem solver
