Job Summary
Quant Analytics Associate Senior on the Point of Sale Fraud team drives fraud prevention through advanced risk analyses and strategic insights. Responsibilities include interpreting large data sets to define risk dynamics, developing and implementing fraud strategies, identifying key risk indicators, enhancing reporting, and communicating findings to senior management. Collaborates with cross-functional partners, develops new fraud/spending pattern detection tools, and supports risk mitigation initiatives. Requires Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline and 3+ years in fraud/risk/payments or related field, with proficiency in Python, SAS, and SQL, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. Location: Columbus, OH. Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline in a financial services organization
- 3+ years’ experience in fraud/risk/payments or related field
- Advanced understanding of Python, SAS, and SQL
- Ability to query large amounts of data and transform raw data into actionable management information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience delivering recommendations to management
- Self-starter with the ability to drive for resolution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals across departments/functions and with senior-level executives
