Job Summary
Role focuses on Qualys reporting and risk visibility within the Cybersecurity Engineering team, with an initial emphasis on External Attack Surface Management (EASM), CSAM, and VMDR. Develop, maintain, and deliver clear, audience-specific reports and dashboards; partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to support remediation; provide data-driven insights to leadership to enable effective remediation; support and expand Qualys integrations with ServiceNow; back up another cybersecurity resource and assist with VMDR configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting; expand capabilities to TotalCloud, TotalAppSec, and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) over time; drive continuous improvements to processes and the organization’s security posture. This is a senior individual contributor role with hybrid in-office and telecommute options based in Houston or Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related field
- Hands-on experience supporting Qualys in an enterprise environment, specifically EASM, CSAM, and VMDR
- Strong experience with vulnerability data analysis, reporting, and remediation support
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable insights for varied audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
