Job Summary
Coaching and mentoring Quality inspectors to adopt best practices in inspection techniques and performance improvement across multiple manufacturing areas (metals, composites, structures, seals, flightline, wings, interiors, electrical, hydraulics, engines, paint, systems, final assembly, plumbing, and related documentation). Responsible for guiding NCR writing, analyzing performance and quality data (CMES, PAS, EPES, TMC), and supporting problem solving to achieve quality goals within Boeing Production System. Supports Structured On-The-Job Training plans, offers SME-level coaching on specific Quality skills, and provides timely feedback to ensure understanding and proficiency. Works 100% onsite, collaborates with quality managers and team leads, and fosters positive interpersonal relationships while upholding coaching and leadership expectations. Role is available on 1st or 2nd shift (to be determined at interview/offer). Requires 5+ years in manufacturing quality/inspection, experience with NCRs, and mentoring capability; preferred Bachelor’s degree or higher, strong analytical and communication skills, and adherence to COI and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, quality, or other related field
- 5+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
- 5+ years of experience working or inspecting non-conformance work orders
- 2+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams
