Job Summary
Quality Technician needed in De Pere, WI to perform dimensional inspections, ensure ISO 9001 quality management adherence, conduct internal audits, manage traceability and nonconformities, compile data and PPAP documentation, and support metrology calibration and laboratory testing while collaborating with cross-site teams. The role emphasizes walking manufacturing facilities to verify safety and quality standards, interpreting customer drawings, leading by example in training, and maintaining calibration records; requires associate degree or 2+ years in quality/manufacturing, travel up to 50%, and proficiency with measurement tools, data analysis, and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in a field like quality or manufacturing
- Ability to travel 25–50%, including drives up to 5 hours and occasional long-distance trips
- High technology proficiency, ability to type 35+ wpm, and the ability to learn new applications and approaches
- Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and promptly address concerns
- Ability to analyze data and trends to solve problems, make decisions, and implement effective solutions
- Ability to work independently, set your own goals, and manage your time efficiently
- Ability to read tape measures and digital calipers
- Clear and professional verbal/written communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Knowledge of RCA techniques
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Experience with internal auditing for ISO-9001 or comparable QMS systems
- Quality control certifications
- Lean or Six Sigma certification
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015
- Knowledge of PPAP, SPC, flow charts, control plans, and FMEA creation and revision
