Job Summary
Perform visual and mechanical inspections using pin gages, calipers, micrometers, CMM, and GOM scanners to measure components against GD&T specifications. Create and run part measurement programs in PC DMIS or Calypso, develop inspection processes, and collect data for customer or CoC packets. Collaborate with engineering to resolve issues, maintain the Quality Management System, and assist with root cause analysis. Identify non-conformances using various software and create inspection documentation. Requires 2+ years of quality experience, AS9100 knowledge, and a U.S. government security clearance. Located at the Centennial, Colorado facility with a salary range of $30.00-$36.00 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in a quality position
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 manufacturing and inspection environment
- Experience writing programs and running CMM
- Experience in developing and implementing quality procedures and work instructions
- Proficient with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) read, write and interpret
- Drawing interpretation background
- Experience working with various measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Formal written and verbal communication with internal and external parties (customers and suppliers) as well as performing inter-company and external presentations
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
